A tragic single-vehicle accident claimed the life of a driver in the Town of Hopewell, Ontario County on Wednesday morning. The fatal crash occurred just after 7 a.m. on State Route 5 & 20, when the vehicle left the roadway and collided with a tree. Ontario County sheriff's deputies responded to the scene and found the driver deceased inside the vehicle. The driver was the sole occupant of the car at the time of the crash.
